In this paper（Sun, H., Zhao, D., Xiong, B. et al. Engineering Corynebacterium glutamicum for violacein hyper production. Microb Cell Fact 15, 148 (2016)）, we found the vioE wild type sequence (number), and then we performed codon optimization to get a codon sequence that is more suitable for E. coli.
